How Much is Enough?

The Good News Today Is....productivity is not always measured by production. For anyone that has ever worked in a factory or other industry where your worth is based on how much you do, it can be very frustrating. Often times we become numbers - our employee number, the number of widgets we have made, our social security number, the number of customers we've served - and on and on. In the scheme of life does any of that really matter? "Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing good, in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives." Titus 3:14. It's not how much of something we do, but the spirit in which we do it and the desire to do good. Trying to always do more, instead of devoting yourself to doing good will keep your wheels spinning. We are trying to produce the fruit of the Spirit and not just fruitfully provide by increasing our production.
