Life is Short

The Good News Today Is....knowing that life is short we can make the best of it. The headlines on Yahoo News today talked about the closing of the Taj Mahal and that the pyramids are falling apart. The article urged that we should see these great things before they are no longer available. We may never get to Egypt or India, but we can make sure that we connect with family and friends before it is too late. Life is short - sometimes surprisingly short - as any of us who have lost a loved one to an accident or illness when they seemed much too young to die - clearly know. When they are gone is not the time to be telling them you love them, the time for that is now. "Jesus said, 'I am with you only for a short time, and then I go to the one who sent me.'" John 7:33.
